O percurso pedestre Caminho das Virtudes proporciona uma viagem num contexto geomorfol\u00f3gico especial, algo que caracteriza toda a regi\u00e3o da Beira Baixa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A aventura come\u00e7a na aldeia de Vilas Ruivas, vagueando pelo Vale do Lameir\u00e3o e em contacto com um terra\u00e7o fluvial, onde outrora os romanos exploraram o precioso ouro. H\u00e1 ainda evid\u00eancias de um acampamento tempor\u00e1rio de homens pr\u00e9-hist\u00f3ricos, com a descoberta de lareiros calor\u00edferos, protegidos por para-ventos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A caminhada exige que se pare para contemplar a impon\u00eancia das &#8220;costas&#8221; das Portas de R\u00f3d\u00e3o e para conhecer e visitar a pen\u00ednsula da \u201cIlha das Virtudes\u201d. Antes de regressar, junto \u00e0 ponte dos caminhos de ferro, aproveite o pequeno desvio e conhe\u00e7a Fonte Termal, associada \u00e0 Falha do Ponsul, uma das falhas geol\u00f3gicas respons\u00e1veis pelo soerguimento da Cordilheira Central Portuguesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voltando ao percurso por caminhos rurais com vest\u00edgios de agricultura, deve visitar o monumento funer\u00e1rio megal\u00edtico do Cabe\u00e7o d\u2019Ante, com cerca de 5000 anos e aproveitar para conversar com alguns agricultores resilientes que ainda hoje aproveitam a qualidade e a abund\u00e2ncia de \u00e1gua, que se infriltra na Serra das Talhadas, para sobreviver e viver nesta bonita aldeia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do percurso pedestre Caminho das Virtudes pode ser efetuado por fam\u00edlias com crian\u00e7as.
