{"id":5182,"date":"2022-08-29T14:34:32","date_gmt":"2022-08-29T14:34:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geonatour.website\/?p=5182"},"modified":"2024-01-03T17:19:38","modified_gmt":"2024-01-03T17:19:38","slug":"caminho-do-xisto-de-foz-do-cobrao","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.geonatour.com\/turismo\/caminho-do-xisto-de-foz-do-cobrao\/","title":{"rendered":"VVR3 Caminho do Xisto de Foz do Cobr\u00e3o"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vila Velha de R\u00f3d\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A aventura do percurso pedestre Caminho do Xisto de Foz do Cobr\u00e3o come\u00e7a na margem do rio Ocreza e depois de ultrapassados os penhascos quartz\u00edticos e os calhaus rolados, ter\u00e1 a oportunidade de contemplar a beleza impressionante das Portas de Almour\u00e3o, um geoss\u00edtio espetacular, integrado no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naturtejo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Geopark Naturtejo<\/a> e que lhe dar\u00e1 a &#8220;porta de entrada para as profundezas&nbsp;da&nbsp;Terra&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9 com os olhos nesta paisagem deslumbrante que se aproxima a povoa\u00e7\u00e3o de Ch\u00e3o das Cervas e que se sobe at\u00e9 ao ponto mais alto do percurso, onde se avista a povoa\u00e7\u00e3o de Vale do Cobr\u00e3o. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A descida vai dar \u00e0 ribeira do Cobr\u00e3o, local onde se ultrapassam grandes penhascos quartz\u00edticos e onde se come\u00e7a a perceber que a \u00e1gua era um elemento fundamental para as antigas popula\u00e7\u00f5es. O som da \u00e1gua permanece e avistam-se alguns a\u00e7udes e seus reservat\u00f3rios de \u00e1gua. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Caminhando por entre oliveiras e terrenos de cultivo chega-se \u00e0 Praia Fluvial Penedo dos C\u00e1gados, local de lazer nos meses mais quentes de ver\u00e3o e que se destaca devido a um enorme bloco de quartzito que ter\u00e1 rolado encosta abaixo. O espelho de \u00e1gua est\u00e1 novamente relacionado com um a\u00e7ude conhecido como Cascata Po\u00e7o de Mel e que servia para &#8220;alimentar&#8221; os lagares e moinhos que outrora serviam os habitantes da Foz do Cobr\u00e3o. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voltar\u00e1 a deparar-se com o rio Ocreza e as suas hist\u00f3rias de explora\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro relembrando-lhe que este lugar j\u00e1 foi percorrido por muita gente na procura do &#8220;danado amarelinho\u201d. Chegado a este ponto, aproxima-se&nbsp;a&nbsp;hora de descansar na Praia Fluvial da Foz do Cobr\u00e3o, at\u00e9 porque o final do percurso est\u00e1 j\u00e1 ali!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O percurso pedestre Caminho do Xisto de Foz do Cobr\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 aconselhado a fam\u00edlias com crian\u00e7as pequenas devido \u00e0 sua dist\u00e2ncia, sinuosidade e dificuldade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para que
